The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills. DECA, a national association of marketing education students, provides teachers and members with educational and leadership development activities to merge with classroom instruction. DECA chapters attract students who are interested in preparing for entrepreneurial, marketing or management careers. DECA is not extracurricular; it is an integral part of the student's academic experience. Working hand-in-hand with the education and business communities, DECA's goal is for its student members to develop a Dzcareer success kitdz to carry into their professional and personal lives after graduation. Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a national student organization with a two-fold mission to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. SkillsUSA is a national organization for students in trade, industrial, technical and health occupations in public high schools, vocational centers, area vocational schools and two-year colleges.
