Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity

Compromise. Breach. Intrusion. When a data network or computer system is exposed or exploited, the result can be catastrophic to both business and industry. That's why information security has grown into its own field-one that provides critical protection of information assets from unauthorized disclosure or modification and accidental or intentional loss of data.

The Cybersecurity program prepares you for a red hot career protecting valuable data from security threats and hackers. By completing this program of study, students will be prepared to plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems. They will have the confidence to regulate access to computerdata files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.

The Cybersecurity Program is offered at Lake Howell High School and has transfer options.
