Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship

Successful entrepreneurs have the ability to develop an idea and take it through the process to become a marketable product or service. If you love shows like Shark Tank and are interested in being your own boss, scheduling your own contracts and managing your own money, you may have what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

Lake Howell High School is home to the district's Program of Emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Students who participate in the program are introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship while also developing the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to start and operate a business.

The Entrepreneurship program is offered at Lake Howell High School and does not have a transfer option available. However, in addition to this program, all Seminole County high schools are expected to infuse entrepreneurship into career and technical education courses.
