National Merit Scholarship

Hagerty is proud to announce that seven outstanding students have been named Finalists in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, one of the nation’s most prestigious academic recognition programs. This year, approximately 15,000 students nationwide have earned Finalist standing after advancing from a pool of over 1.5 million juniors who entered the program by taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Finalists represent the top academic talent in the United States and are eligible for National Merit Scholarships to be awarded later this spring. Congratulations Huskies!

High school juniors and seniors, you and your family are invited to Seminole State at night on February 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sanford Lake Mary Campus.

Find your passion at Seminole State! SCPS juniors, seniors and their families are invited to Seminole State at Night, an open house event on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Students and their guests can stop by anytime between 4-6 p.m. for campus tours, the program fair and to get help applying for college.

The mission of Hagerty High School is to provide a nurturing learning environment where students can obtain the skills useful to become productive, creative, and caring members of a diverse society. While valuing differences the curriculum provides students with opportunities and challenges to grow intellectually, physically and socially. Through a variety of learning experiences, students are taught to recognize the value of education as a continuous process and to realize their responsibilities to each other and to the larger community.
