2026 Summer Learning

Seminole County Public Schools will not offer summer virtual courses, except for Driver’s Education, in Summer 2026.

Students who requested SCVS classes to begin in June or July have been moved to an August 3, 2026 start date and are now back in “Course Requested” status for school counselors to review.

Please review the options below:

Option 1 – Keep the August Start Date
If you would like your student to begin the course on August 3, 2026, please email your Hagerty school counselor to approve the request for the fall start date.

Option 2 – Request the Course Through FLVS for Summer
If your student needs to take the course before fall, please complete the following steps :

  1. Students can log in to their FLVS account here: FLVS LOGIN
  2. Drop the SCVS request for August 3.
  3. Add the FLVS course with your preferred Start Date.

Students who are active in SCVS eCampus courses

SCVS teachers are working closely with active students to help them complete their courses by May 22. Students in eCampus courses with SCVS who have not completed by May 22 will be placed on hold until August 10, 2026.

Seminole County Virtual School will support students through the remaining weeks of this school year, and our entire team is looking forward to welcoming students back in August for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond.

Students who are active in SCVS courses (not in eCampus)

SCVS teachers are working closely with students to help them complete their courses by May 22.

If a student is not on track to finish by May 22, SCVS will assist with transferring the enrollment to FLVS so the course can be completed, based on FLVS availability.

Students who transfer to FLVS at the end of the school year will be withdrawn from SCVS and will receive one of the following grades:

  • W – Withdrawn; student is less than 20% complete at time of withdrawal.

  • WP – Withdraw Passing; student is 20% or more complete with a passing grade.

  • WF – Withdraw Failing; student is 20% or more complete with a failing grade.

Please note that W, WP, and WF do not impact GPA or earned credits, though WP and WF will appear on the student’s transcript.

FLVS cannot guarantee placement timelines, and students will be placed based on course availability. Some courses may not be available through FLVS.

For questions about FLVS courses, please Contact FLVS .

Seminole County Virtual School will be working to support your students during the remaining weeks, and we look forward to working with you beginning in August for the 2026-2027 school year.
